Great experience from start to finish.
First Ben sent a great video of the vehicle I was buying through, highlighting any imperfections.
Next was a test drive with Tim, there was no pressure tactics used, very chilled. Also we’re happy with work with me on a deal as I was part exchanging my old car and they offered a very fair price.
After sale service with Leo was spot on, had and engine management light fault appear approx 3 weeks after buying. They were very quick at getting back to me. Vehicle still under manufacture warranty and Leo loaded with the manufacture directly on my behalf sorting it all out and chasing them up, so all I had to do was turn up at the local dealership.
I would certainly recommend Gold Cars to friends and family. When the time comes would certainly deal with Gold Cars again.

Easily the best dealership experience you can get in the uk, it is very easy to find and accessible, the customer service is 10/10 the in person and over the phone customer service from Matt and Tim the sales rep were outstandingly amazing and down to earth, they even answer the phone at closing time, they still give you after support after you buy the car and have it delivered, and last but not least the Delivery Driver/Valet chap Duncan, who will make sure you are happy with your vehicle and reassure you that you can contact the car show room if their are any problems with the car or general Queries “obviously depending on your warranty status and AA Etc” and he did a spanking job on the complementary car wash as-well Many thanks again.

I bought a volvo v90 a few weeks back from gold cars. I must say the staff were great and the car was one of the best condition used cars I’ve ever bought. I’ve had an issue with the rear light which has had water ingress. The car is under volvo warranty but said they didn’t cover water ingress. Gold cars said no problem and sorted the issue for free of charge in which volvo wanted over £500. Can’t recommend enough.

Really good experience from this garage! I part exchanged for a car they had and from the offset Ben was looking to get me the best price for my old car, even finding the service book I thought I’d lost! The car was great but unfortunately the radio touchscreen started sticking and even on some occasions the station would change of its own occured. This was rectified at a time convenient to me with no problems at all. Superb experience in buying a used car after some bad experiences from other garages, would totally recommend.

Matt has been an absolute pleasure to deal with start to finish. Car developed a gearbox fault early on but they got it straight in and fixed it, this is 100% BMW fault for claiming their gearboxes have “lifetime” oil than anything else. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently bought a car from Gold Cars, it’s the second I have bought from them over time and both times I have been extremely impressed. The speed of getting finance sorted and being able to test drive. We didn’t think the garage was open when we first popped in but Matt was on the off chance showing another car and was kind enough to stay to discuss mine, I really appreciated this as it was a Sunday afternoon!
Their customer service is impeccable, both in the garage and out, they have a WhatsApp which they reply to very quickly and check in after the car has left.
Prices are good, they don’t overcharge and find various ways to give discounts if they apply. Very kind lads and have a great work ethic and knowledge but they are also very honest, on their cars or others, they will tell you truth about them even if it leaves them without a sale, they’re focussed on the person and the perfect car for them, not money driven which is rare these days!
Can’t fault them and will continue to use them! Very happy with my car, and it has warranty too!

I needed a replacement vehicle rather quickly for work. The team at Gold Cars asked the right questions to find out exactly what sort of car would be suitable for my work and lifestyle which involves a lot of travel and a need for space. They found exactly what I was looking for, to my surprise better then I expected at the budget I was on and the team were so welcoming, letting me test drive and ask all the questions someone who has no clue about cars would ask! It was very insiteful. They also gave me advise on what sort of yearly budget to put aside with a second hand car. I found all this advise so valuable. The exchange was easy and the paperwork was all done so quickly I drove off with everything legally done and insured. They even kindly sorted out my paperwork for my old car which I was not even trading in with them.

I encountered a minor filter problem with the car within the first 24 hours and the team immediately went above and beyond including giving me a courtesy car at such short notice. Definitely not the stereotypical Arthur Daly! No quibble fixing my head gasket after it showed up as a problem a month or so after purchase, and happy to investigate the issue when it reappeared well after the 3 month warranty. Service well and above! Only issue is the distance from my house.. but I can’t really dock a start for that..

6 months after buying my car from Gold Cars it has worked perfectly. We just had the small issue of a blown bulb which was resolved on the same day.

I had so many bad experiences with car supermarkets trying to find the right car, finally we found a Mazda CX-5 that was just great from Gold Cars. Whole process was so easy and relaxed, encouraged us to take a test drive before we bought it to make sure we were happy. Whole process including test drive took less than an hour from us walking in to us walking out the door with the keys. Wonderful service all round. The car had the best price amongst all other Mazdas on the market and had the best spec, lowest mileage and was at least a year newer than all the others. I have been using these guys for a few years now. It started with servicing of my car and then onto getting it MOT,d at a later date. Repairs are always expensive no matter where or which garage you use but I did find Gold Cars to be a little more reasonable than the others.
Feeling confident of the service I decided to buy a SUV from them. It did have a couple of issues within the warranty period which were corrected/mended super fast. Definitely will be buying from them again when the time comes. I have realized over the years that buying second hand cars is always a worry. No matter how many checks you do to ensure the vehicle you are buying is in tip top condition for the money you are paying, you don’t have Xray eyes and is always a little scary guessing the condition of the inside of that lump of metal under the bonnet but good to know the company you buy from will rectify any issues you have.

I bought an “09” Insignia Estate from these guys and whilst it had a few problems from go, (you expect the odd problem when buying used cars),they have gone out of their way to sort it out for me. More importantly, even after the Warranty had expired they replaced a broken turbo at no cost to me. Warranty had run out a month prior.
I have no hesitation in recommending this dealer as I have found them to be honest and extremely helpful. Ask for Tim if you need anything as nothing is too much trouble.

Always go to Gold Cars to get my car serviced and MOT’d. I find that you get an honest service and don’t pay the earth compared to many other garages. Although I drive a fair distance they seem to be able to accommodate me at all times and have even had work done over the weekend. Would recommend.

Recently bought a Mazda estate from this garage and though it was high mileage but young thought I’d give it a go. After about 3k miles the dpf light came on. When I managed to get it to a Mazda dealer they wanted 3 grand to fix it and bust the drivers seat in the process. Took it back to Gold Cars and they sorted it all out for under £300! Can’t rate them highly enough. Feel they are an honest place to buy a car and give 60 days cover too. Highly recommended.

To be honest i wasn’t expecting much, but to my surprise the car has been fine.
